Map builder ("the service") lets you customize map styles and export map images. By using it you agree to these terms.
The styling editor and 2K screenshot export are free. We may change or discontinue free features at any time.
The Map Builder Pro subscription ($5/month, or $50/year) unlocks additional features (place search, map styles) and includes 5 export credits per month (60 per year on the yearly plan). Subscription credits reset on each billing cycle and do not roll over. One-time credit packs never expire. Credits are spent on high-resolution exports at the rates shown in the export dialog.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. Credits are non-refundable except where required by law. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
Maps are rendered from OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) served by OpenFreeMap; the satellite and terrain basemaps are served by MapTiler. Exports include the required attribution and it must remain visible where the export is displayed or sold. Subject to that attribution requirement, you may use your exports commercially, including in products you sell.
Don't abuse the service: no scraping, no automated bulk exporting, no attempting to bypass export limits or credit accounting, no reselling raw map tiles or the service itself.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Map data comes from third-party sources and may contain errors — don't rely on it for navigation or safety-critical use. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
