Building and styling maps costs nothing. The free plan includes full color and style customization, publishing and sharing a map (10,000 views a month), up to 30 overlays per map, and PNG export up to 2048px. It is supported by ads, and there is no trial clock.
Style every layer
Start from one of 17 presets (Night, Blueprint, Pastel and more), then recolor roads, water, parks, buildings and labels one by one. Nothing is locked after you apply a preset, so you can fine-tune it as far as you like.
Add your own places
Drop in markers with icons or photo popups, draw shapes and routes, add text, or import a CSV of addresses, a KML, KMZ or GeoJSON file. Then publish the map as a page you can link or embed.
When you would pay
Only for more than the free plan covers. Exports above 2K cost credits: 1 credit for 4K, 2 for 8K, 4 for 16K and 6 for 24K, and a true vector SVG is priced the same way. Credit packs start at $5 and never expire, and a Pro subscription is $4 a month billed annually. You never need to pay to make and share a styled map.
Built on OpenStreetMap
Maps use OpenStreetMap data, so your exports can be printed, framed or sold, which is not true of maps downloaded from some other providers. Want a physical copy? The poster maker lets you design one and order it printed and shipped.
