Turn a real route into a piece of art
Whether it’s one hike or ten years of trips, the route is the interesting part. Map Builder styles it as a real, editable line on a map you control, not a static screenshot from whatever app tracked it.
Bring in your actual route
The Import tab accepts KML, KMZ, or GeoJSON files — export your route from Strava, AllTrails, Google My Maps, or your GPS device and drop it in. Every line, shape, and marker lands in the Overlay list, individually restylable.
Or draw it by hand
No file? Use the Overlay tab’s Polyline tool to trace a route by clicking points, or drop Markers at trip cities for a travel map built entirely from memory.
Style the route to stand out
Give the route its own color and stroke width, separate from the basemap underneath — recolor water, landscape, and roads to whatever palette fits the piece, or start from a preset.
Print it big
Free exports cap at 2048px, enough for screens. For a wall-size print, paid PNG tiers go up to 24576px long-edge, or export SVG for a true vector file that scales to any size without quality loss — useful for a large-format print shop or a laser-cut version.
